Parents, here is some information to be aware of prior to coming to registration regarding Free and Reduced Lunch.
1. Staff will be available to assist parents in the completion of the Free & Reduced Applications on line in the cafeteria during registration.
2. Please have the 10 digit case number available if receiving assistance, as this greatly helps to reduce time and information required to complete the process.
3. Kindergarten and first time students to Pasco County must complete an application.
4. There is no free or grace period. Students’ status ends on a specific date. It is very important to accomplish the process as soon as possible.
5. Parents may prepay or settle previous balances on all accounts.
6. Although a student may not participate in the Free & Reduced Lunch Program, it is important to complete an application, as qualified students are entitled to other special programs which may enhance their educational development.
7. We complete a Family Application. Parents may include all students attending Pasco County School on one application.
8. Until the application has been processed, it is the parents’ responsibility to provide money for lunch or provide a lunch for their child.
9. Students will be charged for a lunch and we are happy to provide them to our little customers. However the Free & Reduced status is not retroactive and any money owed is still the responsibility of the parent.
10. Breakfast is free to every student, every day. We encourage students and parents to take advantage of this wonderful program.
