No Name- Calling Week, January 21-24, 2014
Next week schools across the country will celebrate No Name-Calling Week. No Name-Calling Week was created to celebrate kindness and working to create safe schools free of name-calling and bullying. To celebrate this year, we will encourage all students to participate in the activities described below to promote unity and the inclusion of others.
Tuesday – Superhero Day
Staff and students are encouraged to show they can fight name-calling by wearing a t-shirt with their favorite superhero or cartoon character.
Wednesday – Everyone Counts Day
Staff and students are encouraged to wear sports jerseys or shirts with numbers.
Thursday – We all Rock Day
Staff and students are encouraged to dress like a Rock Star or wear their favorite concert or music shirts.
Friday – School Pride Day
Staff and students are encouraged to show pride in their school by wearing red.
