The School Advisory Council
- is a means for community/parent involvement in and support of the schools.
- is composed of the principal, teachers, educational support, employees, parents, business and community representatives, and secondary students.
- is representative of the ethnic and economic community served by that school.
- participates in identifying school needs and developing plans for meeting those needs.
- assists in preparation and evaluation of the school’s Success Plan, the school’s improvement plan.
